Scouting the Sally favorite Chris Balcom-Miller was dealt to the Boston Red Sox in a swap for somewhat disappointing reliever Manny Delcarmen in a small deal, but one which reminds me of why I write in the first place. At the end of July, I wrote a report on “CBM” after watching him throw seven near perfect frames in Savannah.

I was in attendance for Chris Balcolm-Miller’s best start of the 2010 season. Over seven innings, Balcolm-Miller was nearly flawless allowing no runs and only three baserunners. As impressive as he was, this report will be atypical of what I usually post.
